Customer Review: Cheap, but the functionality is top notch

Let's face it, this is not some kind of engineering breakthrough. It's simply a reflector with an LED inside put on a stick. But then it is actually very nicely made with a nice stand - keeping it steady enough but will collapse and keep the unit intact in case you do hit it too hard. The LED is motion activated and surprising the battery lasts very long. I was expecting it to go out in matter of weeks but it's been almost a year that I've had mine and it still works! I have a tendem garage and thus need to back in my first car to precision in order for the 2nd car to back in safely, and this little gadget does the job to perfection eliminating any guess work. It's a simple product yes, but it is surprisingly good!Customer Review: Cheap, simple, and does the job.

The title says it all. Personally, I hate hanging things from the ceiling in my garage. Whenever you take the cars out, they end up getting in the way and being a real annoyance if you are trying to do other work in the garage.
This items is relatively inexpensive and does exactly what I needed it to. I bought two of these to allow my wife and I to maximize the amount of space of our garage, while still comfortably parking our cars in it.
I tried several other items, which all were fairly unreliable. I even tried the "stop light" one, just to see if I could have something on the wall in front to do the trick. No dice. It was unreliable too. This item is 100% reliable. You can always see the sign move when you hit it, even if the lights don't blink. Plus, the base doesn't move or slide, so you don't have to worry about it moving and messing up your parking spot. At the same time, you can pick it up and easily move it out of the way if needed.

This product works OK but [...] sells one that is $[...] cheaper and better built. Also the base of this product is too light, necessitating taping it to the garage floor so that it doesn't move when the car touches it. The Emerson product sold by Solutions works the same way but is much better built.Customer Review: Didn't really meet my specific needs.

I rate this item 3/5 for "Fair".
At first I thought this was great. However, the little rubber pads underneath the stand eventually wear out and when your car taps the stop sign/pole, it pushes the sign back further and further and further each time you park. This makes me have to readjust it all the time. The light still works and I've had it for about 1 year now. Haven't changed the batteries that came with it out of the box, so that's good, I guess.
If the back of this stop sign will be 3-6 inches from a wall then this is a good deal because it will stay still. If you need to stop further out away from the wall, I suggest getting something else cause this flimsy thing won't stay put.

This is a great product! Everyone always asks me where I got it. Mainly used for my husband, who seems to have depth perception issues, but it works great! Only drawback is that the base isn't weighted all that much and it can be moved around fairly readily ... namely by my kids. I plan to glue/epoxy/silicone (something) it to the garage floor. Even if the light goes out, it's obvious to stop when the thing starts to bend. :)
