I bought this safe for my son and he loves it. The quality and size is great. I like the fact that we don't have to get the keys out everytime he wants to put things in it. What can I say...its a safe. It was very easy to program my own code, and seems sturdy and well made. Just for refernce, I would estimate that the inside is larger than a gallon-size milk container, so plenty of room for stuff. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase. It included the Batteries, keys in case you forget your code or the batteries die, and mounting hardware.Customer Review: Good entry level safe

This is a good entry level safe. I was very disapointed that the sound could not be disabled because it was VERY loud. If I wanted to keep a firearm in the safe, I didn't want it announcing to the whole house that I was opening the safe.
I discovered however that you can disable the sound on your own, though it's not meant to be disabled. The following is a description on how to permanently disable the sound. Open up the back of the door, on the circuit board you'll see the speaker mounted to the board in the lower right hand corner of the board. (It looks like a round cylinder with a hole in the top). You'll notice that it looks like it has a seam in the middle. Take a small knife and pop that seam open, removing the top half of the speaker. You can then remove the metal disc that is the speaker. This will completely disable the speaker, so make sure it's what you want to do. It will be silent after you remove the disc. You haven't changed the operation of the board, you've just removed the speaker's ability to cause something to vibrate and therefore make sound.

This digital keypad safe is of sufficient size for money well spent. I have fit a number of valuables along with my firearm and still have room for more. The only thing for me to decide is which way I want to secure the safe due to the type of bolts provided and the method to use the bolts. Other than that, awesome safe!!
I ,personally, was not looking for a Fire-proof Safe. So if you're looking for that type, this is NOT the safe for you.
