I wish they would make a washable filter, you can not even rinse this off it disinogrates so you have to buy another and you get about 2 months MAX with constant use. At $10 a pop it is discouraging.Customer Review: Honeywell HAC 504 AW replacement filters a good deal

I had been looking for this specific filter replacement at my local hardware store. No such luck, they carried a knock off with a metal grid in it and no poly filter wrap to keep out dust. They were such a pain to replace. I did find these at Home Depot online, but the cost was the same and shipping was outlandish. I ordered enough to make the shipping free and am a very happy camper. I like the handle in the back for removal so I don't have to grab the filter itself.
