If you were looking for a quiet humidifier, this is a falsely advertised and disappointing product. Even after letting it run for 30-60 minutes, this humidifier was too loud, even closing the doors couldn't mask the loud, grinding, and machine-like sounds of this "humidifier". buyer beware!
