I have a 150 yr old house with very small windows in the upstairs and this fan still fits right in and pushes a great deal of air. Unlike other similar fans, the frame part isn't huge, so the only thing that takes up the space is the actual fan grill itself. It's a good product. Works well. Only complaint is that the adjustment knob is difficult to operate. Seems stupid right? You have to push down to turn it (otherwise it turns without changing speed... seems like some weird child safety feature, don't ask me). However, when you push down, unless the fan is facing directly forward, then you invariably push it into a new position...so, you basically have to turn is on, then angle it, then face it forward again, then turn it off. I minor annoyance, that is all.Customer Review: Great fan when it works; died within a year

This is a really nice fan. It makes a good amount of noise, but I really don't mind fan noise, and it definitely was able to move air -- I didn't even have to use it at max speed to be comfortable most of the time.
This would be a 5 star review.. but it died after 8 months. I bought it specifically for THIS summer, and the fact that it died before the summer really got hot pisses me off to no end. It really doesn't matter how good the fan is when it's DEAD.

This works great in my greenhouse. I have it plugged into a temperature sensor so that it runs only when the temp reaches 95F and so far it does the job of cooling down the 24-ft greenhouse.
