Customer Review: Big time airflow = Big time sound levels

First, this fan is made well. It is VERY powerful, even on low. It is VERY loud, even on low. I bought this fan because of the natural wind function that works on all speed settings. This setting makes the fan go from your speed setting to almost off and back to speed again. It simulates natural wind blowing. I have had a fan with this function for years and it is my favorite feature on any fan. With the natural wind setting, I do not get a sore throat from leaving the fan on in my bedroom at night.
If you want a fan that has a very low setting, do not buy this one. It is a brute with big time airflow and big time noise. I honestly don't think I have ever seen a consumer grade oscillating fan with so much power.
The remote is of average quality and works as expected. It does not interfere with my home theater equipment as others say it does.
I would buy it again, but I would prefer a lower setting with less noise.

My first impression was how nice it blends in with our decor. I like the black color. I put it together in about 5 minutes and plugged it in. The thing was LOUD. I thought I had it in HIGH setting. NO. It was in the LOW setting. When I put it on high, the fan almost got knocked backwards. It's very loud too. Now, if you can sleep to a constant fan noise, then that's fine. But if you need whisper quiet, don't spend the money on this fan.Customer Review: Cool is Cool

Since my mother has a Honeywell fan, similar to this one, I felt I couldn't go wrong in the purchase of the same brand. All others have not lasted but a couple years. Her's has been going for about 5 years and is still running strong. I would highly recommend this brand to all my friends and any one else who asked for my advice on the purchase of a fan.
