The fan works just fine and the remote and timer are nice features. However, this fan is very very loud! The low setting sounds like the high setting on most fans and it is a bit stronger than what low should be. The breeze option is more annoying than anything. It seems to work by turning the fan on and off... I guess because a breeze isn't constant? This would probably be fine - maybe even nice - if the fan wasn't so loud! So the fan gets soft then loud, soft then loud. It is not a feature I wiil ever use because of this.Customer Review: Just OK

This fan is really nice if you are looking to move a lot of air in a fairly large room. It is loud as many people have pointed out but you have to expect that from a fan this size. The "Breeze" function is kind of annoying as the fan speeds up and down it doesn't give you a chance to get used to the constant fan noise. The remote is pretty light and feels a bit fragile but it is nice having that controls everything except the oscillation. The big selling point for me is the metal blade cage. It is sturdy and should be able to withstand a tip over. The plastic ones will break with a fall and are hard to clean.Customer Review: My Honeywell Fan Died after 3 months!

My Honeywell 16-inch remote control fan just died. It has been about three months since I purchased it; it was used with reasonable frequency. It has a 5-year warrenty from Kaz, Inc, but you have to send a $10 check for handling, return packaging, and shipping charges ON TOP OF what you will have to pay to mail it back to Kaz, Inc. I paid $43.99 on Amazon. So it would cost me another $20-$25 to get it fixed/replaced after only having it for three months.
