Customer Review: Does Not Work with Vicks Warm Mist Humidifier!!!!

I ordered these because they were advertised to go WITH the Vicks Warm Mist Humidifier. I guess this is my own fault for not researching it further, but I ASSUMED (which we all know the joke about THAT) since Amazon advertised it to be sold with the Vicks Humidifier it would.
It STUCK to the heating element and ruined it. I have never used a heating element Humidifier before, so like I said, I should have researched it more. Even tried cutting it to size, didn't work.
Be careful.

Very little of the mineral build up adheres to the pad. It seems it must float above the heating element, because 90% of build up occurs on the heating element with another 8 percent building up on the plastic surrounding the heating element.Customer Review: Good filter but impossible to purchase.

Filters for the Vicks humidifiers are Extremely hard to find even in stores that sell the Vicks humidifiers. When you purchase from Kaz ( as recommended by the manufacture) which is the only place to get the filters it takes weeks to get ( So far I have waited four weeks and they sent me the wrong filters). As of today we are at SIX Weeks and still no filters. Great Vicks humidifiers but extremely poor customer service/ support.Customer Review: Great humidifier

The pads seem to completely dissolve within 3-4 weeks, but the humidifier does a great job, so its worth it. Very easy to clean and set up.
