Customer Review: Good fan - but noisy

We got this fan to circulate air during summer.
It does the work very well, but it's very loud. Even on it's lowest setting is so loud that we can't sleep when it's on.
The fan is very durable - we have it more than a year and it's still working great, like new.
It's light - you can move it easily.
The fan is small - it's not difficult to find a spot for it.

If you are OK with the noise - this is a great little fan for you; but if noise is bothering you - then you should continue browsing and get some other fan.

This fan has operated satisfactorily since we purchased 2 of them. Our use of the air conditioner has decreased. The only negatives would be that the lowest fan rate is a bit high for us, and these fans are a bit noisier than similar ones we purchased quite a few years ago.

This is a good fan, it circulates air well, is quite reasonably priced, and it can save energy by circulating "conditioned" air evenly throughout the room. My only problem with it, and this is a big problem, is that it is way too loud. Even on the lowest setting this fan is very loud. For some people this may not be a problem, but I could never imagine falling asleep with this beast turned on. I'm going to return the one I bought and try out other brands.

I purchased this fan to go under my desk in my office. I use it when our central AC goes out and the heat is unbearable. The fan performs nicely by giving plenty of air and you can position it easily. The noise is low so it does not seem to bother co-workers. My only complaint is that if you have the fan on high it automatically wants to tilt one to two clicks upward. This can be irritating if you want the airflow to go straight.
