Well..for the bargain ..23 $ is no brainer....from amazon comparing to other over -the -counter local shops selling much lower quality window twin fan ....which makes a decent deal to grab...(bought on Friday sale from amazon )...strong speed at max settings ..exhaust or fresh air .......windows-cover lids included with the pull-lift lock buttom at the side but not so obvious to notice right away...
anyhow a good fan..
recommend for a low budget and a decent window twin fan..needs

This fan was in use continuously last summer in my kitchen window from May though October and now this season also with no problems. One of the best things about this fan is that it is narrow enough to sit on the window ledge with the window screen closed. It is strong enough to pull fresh air in and stale air out through the window screens.
However, some of my windows like the kitchen window are the crank open type and the handles even though they are the tuck in type take up ledge space making the fan unsteady. Fixed this problem by buying a roll of industrial strength Velcro and putting a strip on the narrow bottom of the fan and a strip across the the window sill ledge and viola the fan stayed in place. Velcro kept my kitchen window fan from blowing off the ledge in a sudden gust.
I purchased 2 more of these fans yesterday from Amazon.

I have been using this fan for extended periods on a daily basis for several months now. It seems to be built for a lot of use. It's fairly quiet on the lowest setting, and has a whole lot of power on the higher settings. It does have two problems that I've noticed so far. The extendable wings on the sides are too small to provide much of a seal with the window at the top and the window casing/frame at the bottom. This isn't much of a problem unless using the fan for exhaust in the dead of winter. Also, the fan is of sufficient power to suck all of the dust out of the room, whereupon it builds up on the inside of the fan housing. The designers did not provide an easy way of opening the housing for cleaning. I haven't tackled this problem yet, and hope that I don't inadvertently break it when I do.Customer Review: A great breeze for the money

Anybody needing a window fan will like this unit; plenty of air not too noisy and thin enough to install without removing your window screen, (for my window, anyway). I recommend it.

I ordered this fan based on the reviews here at Amzon. It is a well made product but I felt that the airflow was inadequate, especially when the fan was blowing air from inside to outside. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I ended up returning it.
