Customer Review: A little loud, but GREAT air flow!

This fan really pushes the air through! Good thing it has it's adjustable direction vents! The round grate in front of the fans rotates, and is angled a little. Does not seem like much, but it does noticably change the direction of the air flow!
This window fan does, however, make a good hum throughout the room/half the house when running on high. It is a bit loud. It has gotten the nickname, "Bee Hive" in my house. However, I run it in my room while I sleep to cool the house, and I can get to sleep with it. It is more of a low drone, rather than a racket, so if you can sleep with steady background noise, it should be fine.
I really love this fan, it works great, and runs strong!

Whoever said in their review that is fan was "whisper quiet" must be sleeping with ear plugs. It is loud! Yes, it does produce a nice breeze, but I set only one of the two fans on low and you'd think you are in a room with an airplane. If you want loud white noise and are willing to give up the sounds of nature outside - this for you.Customer Review: A truly versatile fan

Unlike many others, with this fan you have individual controls to change the speed and direction of each fan independently! No need to remove the fan and turn it around. Plus it has temperature controls and can be mounted horizontally or vertically.Customer Review: Agree with most other reviews

Install was easy, even though I had to mount mine sideways and use the bracket. It doesn't fit quite perfect, but does the job. Roommate caught wind of it (ha ha) and had to get one for the other 2 rooms so now we have 3 of these pumping air into our apartment. The three of them will cool our 3 bedroom apartment on the easy side of 10 minutes.Customer Review: Always on.

This window fan is fantastic. We pretty much always have it on to keep fresh air coming in, and inside air circulating out. Pretty powerful, not too loud, very refreshing. Great buy.
