Keep looking. This is VERY awkward to fill. Those with grip strength issues will never be able to handle. If you have hard water, find the filters in bulk. Will do an adequate job in small spaces. I purchased the HWM-335 about 4 months ago -- after owning three other humidifiers. One leaked. The water tank lid on another was extremely difficult to remove, which was a terrible trial since the tank had to be refilled at least twice a day.
Why did I buy the HWM-335? Because it is a warm moisture humidifier that fits my life-style, and because it reminded me of R2-D2.
Why do I keep it, and why will I buy another when this one dies? Because...
1) the tank lid is easy to remove,
2) it doesn't leak,
3) it's easy to clean,
4) it has a humidistat that keeps my space moist without adjustments,
5) the price is right,
6) the design is charming, and
7) I have fallen in love.
This little fellow is a constant reminder of the tiny robot who played such an important role in saving the oppressed from evil oppressors. And so I believe, like R2-D2, this guy will give 200% to see that the job is done, and done well. What's not to love? Thank you Honeywell!

I bought mine last year and was very pleased with its looks, size, controls, ease of use, and quickness to steam. It is, as others mentioned, noisey. I had to move it out of my bedroom because of noise. I unboxed and set it up in early November and now it intermittently shuts down for some reason and has to constantly be reset. I did the whole troublshoot menu i.e., cleaned though it wasn't dirty, even cleaned off the metal the contact points of the power module. The company will probably fix or replace it I pay for shipping both ways (thats like $20 both ways). Someone on here mentioned that they charge a fee to fix it? Anyway, its not worth the hassle. Bought this product (not from Amazon) it broke after about a week - I've tried about every humidifier out on the market - the BEST by far is anything made by Air-o-swiss.. Period. I'm on the same one for the second season and we're buying another for our daughter. They are WORTH every cent.Customer Review: Just stopped working

Got the item, and it worked for about 3 days, then shut itself off. Won't even power on now. Seems to be a common defect.
