This is a great humidifier for cold region places. It increases the humidity in the room quickly and makes it more comfortable. Many people have a complaint about the noise, but I do not lose any sleep from it. I have to replace the water about every 12 hours, which is a little more often then I would like. Overall this is a good buy that I would recommend for everyone.Customer Review: Great!

I love the fact it is Germ and filter free. We have this in our sons room and it is relatively quiet. It does have the boiling water sound which isn't too bad. I have to fill it once every other night, which is great! It is very easy to clean and I recommend it. The mineral pads cut down on the buid-up inside the machine thus cuts down on the cleaning process.Customer Review: Heat plate broke but the unit continued to function

Purchased this product a couple of months ago and the unit functioned well and I was very happy with it however a week ago the heat plate, the part that protects the heating element from the water, cracked and water would drip through the crack out the bottom and unto the floor. This is quite dangerous as having water next to an electric current & heat source is asking for trouble, especially when the unit continued to function.
