I had this steamer for two months before the on/off button stopped working to turn it off - you could only turn it on, then had to unplug it to turn it off (not the end of the world, but annoying considering it was new). My last humidifier was a Honeywell also but a very basic model and it lasted me nearly 8 years, so this one is not starting out well. Also, you have to clean it EVERY WEEK or you will not be able scrape all the stuff off the heating unit (my old one I only cleaned every few months and it was fine...... this one is a lot more work!) After I wrote to Amazon asking if I should return the humidifier to the manufacturer because it was past the one month return policy date, they not only replied to my e-mail within 12 hours but had a new one in the mail for me the same day!!!! It came one day later!!! WOW - I'm amazed at their customer service -thanks Amazon! It's rare to find such quick response from a company that stands behind their products-I'm impressed.Customer Review: Amazon... Why won't you ship to me?

Amazon. I had to buy this from your competition because this and a growing number of other products won't ship to US Military APO/FPO addresses. The US Postal Service delivers here, so what's the problem? Good product though. The digital readout is easy to see from across the room. Big handle makes carrying the water tank easy. big easy-to-operate buttons are right up front. Easily comes apart without tools for cleaning.Customer Review: Are any all that quiet?

This is a very quick and quiet steam producer for those dry winter heat nights. Worked right out of the box, has filters to catch minerals in the water. Controls are intuitive - except the timer - never figured out how to use it - nor after engaging it, how to override without rebooting. good product.Customer Review: As attractive as it is functional

A fairly quiet, reliable humidifier that is easy to set up and use. But like a lot of similar models, it is just enough of a pain to clean regularly that there is a tendency to forget (and regret) weekly maintenance. It's not that it is difficult to clean; just that it takes awhile to complete all the easy steps.
In addition, the filter is easy to replace, and you need to do so every so often, depending upon how hard or soft your tap water is. That said, it does its job of providing the right amount of humidity admirably.
