Tools and Hardware Reviews of Honeywell HZ-7200 Cool Touch Oscillating Heater w/ Smart Energy Digital Control PlusCustomer Review: Nice and cozy Summary: 4 Stars
My office is always very cold in the winter. The heat is never regulated properly and being on a basement level makes it worse. So I bought this heater hoping it would help take the chill out of the room and it did that and more. It really made the room warm and toasty, even to the point where I had to turn down the heat. But the smart energy control does help regulate the temps very well and it is also quiet enough that it doesnt bother my patients. It is also very lightweight so easy to transport back and forth
Customer Review: Not So Happy Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased 2 of these units to add additional heat to my bedroom and family rooms. My first disappointment was the 18 inch cord. It is impossible to place the unit anywhere without it backing up against something. The manual warns against using extensions or power strips and it also requires its own individual outlet (nothing else is suppose to be plugged in the same outlet which normally contains 2 plug ins). I have it set at 75degrees and so far, it has come on twice for about 5 seconds and turns right off. I'm so dissappointed as I can only return it for another model or pay a 15percent restocking fee... and like an idiot, I bought 2 of them.
Customer Review: Not Worth Buying Summary: 1 Stars
I had this heater for one night and returned it. It really didn't heat my room - a small bedroom apartment. I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your time and go with a Lasko 5367 16-1/2-Inch Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heater. For me, it ended up being cheaper and did a fantastic job. My room was warm and cozy within 30 minutes!
Customer Review: Not what I expected Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this for its digital thermostat because that usually means precise temp control. It even touts its precision on its website -- only a three degree variation from the set temp, instead of the standard six. I was really disappointed to find that instead of a digital readout of my settings, there was a knob; and instead of precise controls, every setting was a range of five degrees or so. The end result is I'm always too hot or too cold when I'm sleeping -- no different from a standard analog heater.
Customer Review: Ok but other models generate more heat Summary: 3 Stars
I purchased this and also the "Lasko 5367 16-1/2-Inch Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heater". The Lasko has a smaller footprint but seems to generate a LOT more heat. The Lasko is taller, but still not very tall. I intentionally ordered two different model and manufacturers thinking I'd compare them, and I'm glad I did. I'm returning this one and getting another Lasko. (I guess I should mention that I do not in any way benefit from sales of Lasko!).
