Buyer beware: if you want to buy this heater new (as opposed to used), purchase it someplace else. I ordered a new heater from Amazon.com, but they shipped me an obviously used heater: the heater was dirty, the remote control was damaged, the packaging was torn inside and the box was dusty and re-taped. This has never happened to me before with Amazon, but I will think twice before ordering next time.Customer Review: Received a used, defective heater from ANTOnline

I like the heater itself. However, I ordered mine from ANTOnline (through Amazon). I was suspicious that the heater I received was defective because of the way the cord was loosely wrapped in a rubber band when I took it out of the box. The heater has a bad rattle in it. I contacted ANTOnline. They refused to replace it with the SAME MODEL which is all I asked. They instead told me to send the heater to the manufacturer at my expense. I won't order from this company again as they do not stand behind the products they sell.Customer Review: THE LITTLE HEATER THAT COULD!!

i have had 4 of these, and they are AWESOME, i totally recommend them but they were like 35 or 40 at home depot, but i dont think they are sold there any more. so if you can get your hands on one of these i would totally recommend it!!
what drew me to this one was the remote, so i didnt have to get out of bed and its GREAT!!

It took about 2 days to burn off the factory smell from this heater but it has now been running virtually non-stop for the past 3 months without any problems. It's amazing how much heat this toaster-size heater throws off. It remains cool-to-touch even after hours and hours of running. I bought this item after reading other reviews of it and I echo their positive sentiment.
