Our previous wireless doorbell needed to be about 15 feet from the transmitter which meant that it could not be heard in some of the back rooms of the house. Upgraded to this one and have been very happy. First, it now sets in the middle of the house (about 40 feet from the transmitter). Second, the volume is loud enough that it can be heard from the entire house.Customer Review: A really great find.

Compared to other wireless door chimes I have seen, I was immediately impressed with the design of this Honeywell product. I have no qualms of where I put it, because of the handsome look. It is portable, but this is not necessary because even on low, the chime is quite loud. It certainly can be heard out on my balcony, which is one of the main reasons for buying it. It has a nice selection of various chimes, and flashes for a few seconds after it rings, which is very helpful if I happen to be wearing earphones.

I purchased this doorbell for my aging parents. The house is 2 story and 5 bedrooms. This doorbell is fantastic. It was easy to install, around 5 minutes, and the bell is loud enough to hear throughout the house. I also love that the unit flashes when the bell rings. Very good for the hearing impaired. This item is awesome and works just as I had hoped it would. It is loud enough, but more importantly the strobe is very bright, but not blinding. People wonder what this is when they come over because it looks so stylish. I have the button on the outside of the front of my house and the product downstairs and around a corner. No problems getting the signal to work. I highly suggest this product. I bought it for when I am playing video games and have my gaming headphones on (you can't hear anything but the game). So the strobe was a must. This can be used also for when I have parties in my finished basement, I know when to come up and answer the door when everyone is downstairs and talking/music playing loudly/etc...
I researched every wireless doorbell known to man (over 50 hours of research). This was the best one I could find and was very happy for the low price/great quality/excellent range of signal/and sleek and sexy look. It also has expansion possibilities if you wanted to.
