Tools and Hardware Reviews of Honeywell RCWL330A1000/N P4-Premium Portable Wireless Door Chime and Push ButtonCustomer Review: If you need a door bell, this is the one for you! Summary: 5 Stars
This really works. Instead of spending money on a few cheap door bells, pay a little more to get something that really works!
Customer Review: It dings! It's mobile! Summary: 4 Stars
We needed the variables offered by this doorbell system: 1) it's loud enough to be heard throughout a house that also has two offices; 2) we can tote it out to the back yard and still be able to respond to someone at the front door; and 3) when my wife is doing interviews on the phone we can set the doorbell to silent and still be able to respond to the front door because of its flashing light feature. The selection of tones and the volume control are nice, too.
Customer Review: It's good as expected Summary: 4 Stars
I am using it just for simple one door but happy with it. Volume is loud enough & have multiple to chose from.
Customer Review: Looks, sounds great. Easy Install! Summary: 5 Stars
After returning two other types of wireless systems to our home store, we decided to try this one. Reasonable price, easy install, and IT WORKS!
Customer Review: Loud & Clear Summary: 5 Stars
Our wired doorbell malfunctioned, and we decided to try this wireless door chime based on the technical specs and the reviews. So far, it is an excellent product (it has been installed for only three days). We bought two of them, one for upstairs and one for downstairs. They can be programmed to play different sounds or the same sound. We put a push button at the front door and the side door. After trying different sounds, we decided to have both chimes play the same sound regardless of which push button (front or side door) was pressed. But, again, you can program different sounds. The icons on the front of the units display a flashing light to show which door button was activated.
Read the instructions before you program the units!! Also, if you decide to not mount the units on a wall, the volume will be very muted if you lay the chimes on their back because the speaker faces the back of the chime. The wall brackets hold the top of the unit away from the wall. We put small clear rubber bumbers on the bottom, back of the chimes to hold them completely away from the wall. That way the volume is the loudest.
