I purchased this item in the original form- canvas instead of plastic dividers. If you can find the canvas one, I HIGHLY recommend it! I bought one for my boyfriend's shoes, which are very heavy and bulky. The velcro stood up to the weight of all his shoes, and has been the perfect space saver. I bought one for myself and use it for holding my purses and sweaters. I have not experienced any bending or morphing of it's original shape. I absolutely love it!!!
