Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 1600 12-Line Outdoor Umbrella-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum Arms

Customer Review: Works great!
Summary: 5 Stars

The price is really good, quality good and I love it!
It does what it is intended to do, no problems, no grease on line like was reported in reviews for other model. It is simple to put up and I couldn't be happier. My electric bill should go down now that the clothesline is up!

Customer Review: Works great, could be taller
Summary: 4 Stars

This works great for drying a *lot* of clothes in a small footprint. And it spins!. Too bad it doesn't come with an extra extension, because once you bury the plastic holder that it comes with, it's a little low to the ground for my tastes (I'm 5'11"...my 5'4" wife is fine with it).

All in all a great way to avoid using the dryer on a hot day.

Customer Review: Works like a charm
Summary: 4 Stars

I use the suggestion of another reviewer here and place it in the umbrella slot of my outdoor table. It's a bit lightweight, but does the trick. Easy to tuck into a closet when not in use.

Customer Review: Works like charm
Summary: 5 Stars

Saw my neighbor's and decided to get one. Just love it. Easy to setup. No rust issues because it is constructed with aluminum. Had some really bad windy days and it held tough.

Customer Review: Works well for the price
Summary: 3 Stars

Could not find one of these outdoor umbrella dryers locally, so searched Amazon and found one, cost was around 56 bucks with shipping, I believe. I already had the ground pipe from an earlier unit, so did not have to go through the hassle of digging and cementing. The cords are somewhat loose, but can be tied shorter easily. The opening mechanics are simple, but I lubed the pole with a wax-based bicycle chain lube and it slides much easier than without. This is a Chinese product so I do not expect much. I don't leave it out in bad Oregon weather (rain) so I think it will do well. If it lasts four to five summers, then I will be happy. Delivery time from the vendor was good.
