Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 1600 12-Line Outdoor Umbrella-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum Arms

Customer Review: Earth Friendly
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this garden clothes line in order to save energy and have my laundry dried in the sunshine smelling clean and fresh without the use of a chemical softener. However, where I live the winters are long so it is not used as much as I hoped and my drier has to be used in the winter. Nevertheless it was a good buy and I hope to take it with me when I move, unless the next person who buys my house is as earth friendly as I am. No HOA here to stop the line going up because it might 'spoil the look of the area'.

Customer Review: Easily damages
Summary: 1 Stars

Our first time using the product, it was a little windy. However, we had under the load amount on the lines and the pole sleeve was anchored in the cement, so we did not think there would be a problem. The clothes dryer bent so that the arms are now unuseable. So, I guess it would be okay if you live somewhere that is not very windy. :(

Customer Review: Easy To Make Disappear
Summary: 5 Stars

I wanted a light weight dryer that I could easily remove once the clothes were dried because the best place to put it was right in the middle of my deck. I set it up so that it goes through the umbrella hole of my patio table into the umbrella weight below. It works great and you can use the table to fold the laundry on. No digging, no concrete. Simple, simple, simple.
It is so easy to set up and remove. For me, the light weight construction is a plus. Being able to remove and store it also keeps the lines clean. If it were permanently installed, you would probably have to clean the lines every time you used it.
I love using this product. I save $$$ on my energy bill, the laundry smells great- especially the sheets, and it is very satisfying to complete a chore the way my grandmother used to do it.

Customer Review: Easy, Breezy, great alternative to the electric dryer
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a very good value. Delivery was prompt, and even though I haven't dug a hole and put cement in to create a long term base/support - I was able to put the dryer pole into the base of my Patio Umbrella stand - as long as you don't put too many clothes on and the breeze isn't greater than 10 miles an hour - potentially could tip over...so dig the hole and make it permanent.

This was easy to set up... cause there is NO SET UP... just push the bars up and it locks into place. Very lightweight in design, non-rusting aluminium and strong cross clothes line - with ooooodles of room for at least 4 loads of laundry.

And you can easily take it down and store it in the closet - so there is no eye sore in your yard for the neighbors to complain about.

All in all, a very good value, great product, and everyone should use one instead of their gas/electric dryer... it will save you lots of money... and the best thing of all... your clothes will SMELL AMAZING!!!! You should order one TODAY!

Sunline Umbrella Outdoor Clothes Dryer

I love my umbrella clothes dryer! It's lightweight yet durable, folds down and easily opens for use or can be removed completely when not needed. Also, mine is installed so it rotates for loading. The identical product at other sites was higher in cost.
