Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 1600 12-Line Outdoor Umbrella-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum Arms

Customer Review: Money Saver
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased one for myself and one for my mother-n-law. We love them. They save on our electric bill, easy to install, did it myself. Great purchase.

Customer Review: Nice, simple clothes hanger.
Summary: 4 Stars

Better than more expensive one it replaced. Each line strung seperately. Easy to close & store. Some plastic parts, but pretty sturdy so far.

Customer Review: No tangles and easy up!
Summary: 5 Stars

I was a little worried that this would be cumbersome to use... I planned to not leave this in place, but to put up and take down frequently...

To my surprise, this clothesline goes up easily and does not tangle at all! I used to be super careful taking it down, but have discovered that it is not needed... just slip it up and slip it down with no thought at all.

Better than I expected.

Customer Review: Not Quite Up to Snuff
Summary: 3 Stars

Slightly flimsy, with lines having to be un-tangled when opening the unit up for use, a bit of a pain in the butt, as it won't open without every line in it's place, which becomes slightly tangled when it is closed for the day. - Once Opened, it drys clothes just fine. - - Would recommend spending a little more on a more sturdy and heavier-duty unit.

Customer Review: Not for serious laundry
Summary: 1 Stars

This is the third aluminum clothes dryer like this we've purchased in 5 years. Doesn't save much in energy costs if we have to buy a new one every year or so. This unit is fine if you only have light weight items and they are short, because any wind at all may collapse the unit. Oh, and don't but wet towels on it. They are too heavy. We just built our own unit out of galvanized pipe. We'll see how this holds up.
