Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 3000 30-Line Outdoor Parallel-Style Clothes Dryer with Aluminum ArmsCustomer Review: Don't waste your money! Summary: 1 Stars
I previously owned an unbrella close line untill my husband backed over it with a trailer. The one I owned previously I paid 30.00 for at Walmart. It's line was taught and durable never had one problem with it opened it and followed the instructions for securing it in the ground. Opened it and placed it in holder.
This one however, we followed the instructions to secure it in the ground. Went with out a hitch. Then it came time to open it up and place it in ground. Well if you have 1 hour + of time to untangle the strings then you should be fine. Once the strings were finally untangled then I went to place it in the holder, there is a strange smell to it (like grease) after putting it in the hole I looked at my hands and they were covered with grease and black stuff. I thought I would hang my clothes out on it thinking that it was the poles covered in grease the line is too! Not to mention that the clothes probably would be better laid on the ground seeing how that is where they almost touch! The lines are no taught at all ,they droop in the middle and ther is no way of tightening them. I would highly reccomend another brand if you cand find one! My Wal-Mart here did not have them the last two years!
Customer Review: Easy to use clothesline! Summary: 5 Stars
After researching several different clotheslines, I chose this one based on written reviews. It is super easy to set up, my husband simply followed the instructions included and once the concrete was dry, my clothesline was ready! The nicest feature of this clothesline is the ease of set up and removal - we live in a neighborhood where we cannot keep it up overnight, so I fold it nightly and put it inside our screened porch so that it cannot be viewed from the street. The simple ties provided are functional for tying the lines together before folding (to avoid tangles). Very light and easy to carry.

Customer Review: Good Deal for the Money Summary: 5 Stars
Wow, out of the box and ready to use in just a few hours. I dug a hole large enough for a 5 gallon paint bucket, drilled a few holes in the bottom of the bucket, added a little gravel, and poured in a bag of cement. You may need a helper to hold the green plastic base upright while the cement is being poured. We got the "quick set" kind, so within 30 minutes it had set up. The clothesline holds 2 loads of laundry easily. I tightened up the lines a little after the first use. I like the parallel design; all the lines are easily reached. It rotates nicely in the breeze! Best part: not using the dryer, which heats up the kitchen in the summer and runs up the electric bill.
Customer Review: Good product - one or two caveats... Summary: 4 Stars
Being UK transplants to Texas, we eschewed the craziness of driers for line drying of clothes (much easier in Texas weather anyway!). This product is wayyy better than the cheap flimsy things we used to use in the UK.
Just a couple of design details that kept me from giving 5 stars. First it's a little short for me - I'm over 6ft and cannot stand comfortably underneath this. Luckily my wife is 5'9" and she can (oh well ;-))). Secondly it's fairly difficult to put up and down, so much so that ours is always "up". In a Texas-sized yard that's not a problem...
