I just bought this yesterday at my local hardware store, and had it set up today, cemented in and all. We're redoing our patio next Spring so it looks a bit odd where it is right now. I want it near the end of the patio so I won't have to walk across dewy grass each morning. It seems very sturdy, and my husband loves the fact that it can come completely out of the ground when we have parties in the yard so it's not in the way. Folding it down is great, too, for when the kids are playing. I look forward to many years of saving energy!Customer Review: This is a wonderful outdoor clothes dryer!

I have had this clothesline for several months. It holds up to four loads of laundry, and easily withstands the wind from the sea. One helpful thing to know: the installation requires slightly more than a sixty pound bag of dry cement (probably seventy pounds would be perfect). Also, use a level to make sure the pole is absolutely straight. I also had to take it down once in order to prune a nearby tree. It came down and reinstalled very smoothly, but I took the precaution of gently tying together the lines on each of the four sides before taking it down. This prevented the lines from tangling. I now use the indoor dryer for about an hour a week instead of five hours!Customer Review: Useful clothesline

I'm happy with this clothesline, especially for the price. It holds A LOT of clothes (probably about 5 loads) and it's nice to be able to take it down and tuck it out of sight when I'm done with the laundry. Also, it's well made, and seems like it'll hold up for a while.
However, it is a little tricky to unfold, because the lines get twisted and mixed up when you close it. I've found it helps to bundle the lines together, on each side of the pole, with large twisty ties. Keeps things neat and easy to open.
But, it's easy to use otherwise! And I'm VERY glad I bought it.
