Customer Review: I still don't like to do laundry, but I like this clothesline.
Summary: 4 Stars

I ordered this product in order to try and save money and energy by not running my dryer so frequently. I don't have poles or posts to tie a traditional clothesline to, so I wanted to try this. I really like it. It doesn't take up too much space, and I pull it out of the ground when I need to mow. I also plan to take it out this winter. I didn't have the "greasy" lines issue other reviewers did. I really don't have any complaints with the product. I chose to not put my umbrella into concrete and instead just drove it into the ground. I didn't want anything more permanent. It is working very well.

Customer Review: Just What I Was Looking For
Summary: 5 Stars

After investigation I decided to purchase the Whitney Design 4000 Clothes Dryer. I haven't regretted it. I live in an off-grid situation in the high desert and this is perfect. It is well-made and roomy and turns in the breeze. We get some extreme wind out here, but I haven't used it on really windy days, although the clothespins would probably give before the dryer. When I was looking into these I had alot of trouble understanding how it was held in position as it is not in the product description, and I believe it should be. You will need to set their sleeve in the ground with cement. Then there is an extension pole that fits in the sleeve and then the pole with the umbrella dryer fits in the extension pole. I used the quick drying cement you just pour in the ground and add water, so this was a fairly simple procedure. After the sleeve is secured, this is a very sturdy clothesline. Easy to put up and take down. Highly recommend and a bargain at this price.

Customer Review: Love It
Summary: 5 Stars

Love this clothes line! Used it for the first time today and had no problems. Easy to put up, other than it's a little bit of a pain to dig the hole and pour the concrete, etc. But I love that it has the sleeve, so I can just leave that in the ground and not have the unit permanently in my yard. The sleeve is level with the ground, so will be able to mow right over it. I'm able to put a full load of laundry on it and it holds it fine. I will have to re-tighten the lines as they are sagging, but the instructions do say that they may need to be re-tightened after the first 3 or 4 uses. Oh, I had no problem with any grease on mine.
If you're looking for a semi-permanent clothes line at a reasonable price, I would definitely recommend this one!

Customer Review: Love it!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had this for over a year now. I love only cementing in a plastic sleeve and being able to fold the clothes line, like an umbrella, and put away when weather is bad and over the winter! Plus since clothes lines are frowned upon in my neighborhood, it's nice to put it away when neighbors have company or when I am not using it. Plus the sleeve has a cap on it so no one can accidentally step in it and get hurt.

It did not have any grease on it when it arrived and was perfect, ready to use. I love that it spins with the wind to aid in drying time. It's $3 more now than it was last year but still it's a bargain by any measure! Tons of line space! I love not using my gas dryer at all once the weather breaks and I can start using this again.

Great buy!
