This is a great little shelf, which I have sitting over the top of my dryer. As it says, fits over MOST appliances...wouldn't you know it doesn't fit well over my washer, but does work over the dryer with a little easy adjustment. The only downside is the hardware was a little tricky when I put it together and you can't put a lot of weight on the shelf. A medium bottle of liquid detergent, the same of bleach and fabric softener and some stain remover is about it before things start to bend and warp. But who really needs more than that? All in all, I'm very happy with the product, If one fit over my washer, I would buy another one!Customer Review: Just as expected

Set up was easy (just screw the arms to the bottom of the shelf and then bend to fit to the back of the dryer) and keeps my various boxes and bottles off the top of the dryer but still in easy reach.
I love this setup b/c I live in an older home and can't easily hang shelves in the basement. These shelves fit easily on the back of my older washer and dryer (yeah, they're from 1978-I affectionately call them Harvest Gold Beasts). The ONLY reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that in the rare occasion that I just completely filled the washer lopsided (like if I'm washing a pillow or something awkward like that) and the washer starts to "walk" it can push the back of the shelf up against the wall and knock everything off of it. I've had one shelf for almost a year and that's only happened once when I washed 2 pillows and they both moved to the same side of the machine during the spin cycle (total user error on my part, I should have watched it a bit more closely).

I was thinking this fit a little better on the top of the washer/dryer. It sits there but is not secure enough to put heavy things on or anything that might spill. Jury is still out on this one.
