Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials 5601 Resin Wicker HamperCustomer Review: Beware of potential molding Summary: 3 Stars
I admit I don't spend a lot of care on my laundry. Some clothes go in the hamper damp and this has caused spots of molding (yuck). I just threw this away this morning. I'll be looking for something with cleanable surfaces and something that lets air in. In other ways including size and durability, I liked it a lot.
Customer Review: Does the job and looks nice Summary: 4 Stars
I have been using this hamper for about 4 months now. So far, it has held up well and looks like new! I usually transfer dirty laundry to a bag before heading to the laundry room, but this hamper looks nice while storing clothing. My only quip is that when it's full, the sides tend to bow out a little. Good product!
Customer Review: Effective Summary: 4 Stars
Nothing special. It does what it's supposed too, however, watch out for damp smelly clothing, your hamper may end up smelling like this for a while.
Customer Review: Good Summary: 4 Stars
Good size for maybe one person. But when my husband and I use it it fills up quickly. When it gets too full it will bow out on the sides- I guess that just means it's time to do laundry!
Customer Review: Good hamper. Could have been great. Summary: 3 Stars
All the other reviews tell the good points. I only have 2 things to add.
1. When even half way full, the sides bow out a little. Easy to fold for shipping. Would have been nicer to deal with the larger shipping container and not get a folding side. It doesn't look good when it bows out like that. It doesn't do that in the picture.
2. Velcro on the lid is annoying. I don't want to hear and have to pull the velcro before placing laundry in, or taking it out. It would have been better to have a lid that didn't have the velcro.
