Solid construction. Great size. Perfect substitute for using a dryer. And you get a little extra humidity in the house in the winter. Had a couple other different ones (one wood, one maybe aluminum). They both broke. I don't think this is going to happen.
I wish the clasps on top had a rubber grip, but not a big deal at all.
What would have made this even better (for me) is if it had tighteners instead of just screws. Small thing, though.

It says "heavy duty," so I put about 10 winter sweaters on this rack to dry overnight. The next morning the rack collapsed - one of the rods on the side had snapped. My old wooden rack could handle that load, so I didn't think I was overloading it, but apparently so. I didn't send it back either because of shipping costs.Customer Review: Cheap

I have to drying rack. This one and another one purchased at Target. While the one from Target is more fancy and stylish, it 3-4 bars and doesn't let me pack as many clothes as this one.
They both fold in the same way and I paid the same price for both...
Considering everything, the Whitney 5147 is way superior.
