Tools and Hardware Reviews of Household Essentials MS6030 Mighty Store Seasonal Storage Tree Bag

Customer Review: Large Bag!
Summary: 4 Stars

This bag was low priced and what I ended up needing, I have a 7 foot, 3 piece tree. The tree fit with more than enough room, the bag was actually to big.

Customer Review: Nice, big durable bag.
Summary: 5 Stars

We recently purchased this to store an 8 foot Christmas tree.

The material is heavyweight "tarp" type material, and seems adequate. The handles are well stitched on and the opening is wide enough to make getting the tree in and out easy.

Overall what we expected.

EDITING We have now had this tree bag several years, and it has held up great!

Customer Review: Not quite as advertised.
Summary: 3 Stars

We deliberately chose an opaque, green bag. We received a white, semi-transparent bag. When I called the company, I was transferred to customer service voice mail, and was never called back. We decided to just be satisfied with what we have because it is easy to fill with a full length zipper, and it does seem to be strong enough, especially for the price.

Customer Review: Not sturdy enough
Summary: 2 Stars

When I opened this item I kind of knew the bag was going to be lacking. First, the handles were quite weak. You just knew that if there was anything of substantial weight inside of this bag that the handles would tear.

Then there was the bag itself. The description tries to make the material seem tear proof. When I loaded my 7.5" tree in, not an easy task by the way, everything fit but when I carried it down, a branch, not the trunk that should have been the more capable limb to tear with.. ripped right through the bag.

The branch was a small one and thuse the tear is not huge but it does defeat the purpose of a bag which is to protect the tree from situations the cardboard box (which I foolishly threw away) does not. If my basement floods, the tree might be ruined. Also I don't know that it won't tear further when I carry it back up next year since the structural integrity of the bag has now been compromised.

I know the bag was only $9.50 ($17 w/ shipping), but it's really not even worth that.

Customer Review: Poor quality
Summary: 1 Stars

Handles ripped off the first time the bag was picked up with the tree in it. It's junk.
