Having tried shelves, racks, plastic pockets, etc., ad nauseuam this rack makes the shoes stay put, visible and they don't fall on the floor as soon as you reach for them. The little baskets can be lined with cardboard and you can keep gloves in them too.Customer Review: Good product

We find four pairs of shoes on each level work best for us, rather than the six suggested. We like the handle to be able to move the rack. We change shoes in the kitchen/dining room, which is just off the garage so the handle lets us easily move the shoes to the garage when we have company. Nice and sturdy unit for our tile floor, though soft carpet might be a problem. Easy to assemble, though I missed the washer between the base and the weight under the base and had to start over. (Reading instructions more carefully would have helped me here.) It sure beats the piles of shoes we used to have on a rubber mat by the door.Customer Review: Good solution for small space

This shoe tree works great! The only flaw is you look at the tree and see the bottoms of all your shoes. It is very compact and holds 24 pairs of shoes. I love it!
