I have a Room and Board uncoated, cherry wood dresser. I used a wax sold by Room&board to wax it until it ran out. I'was glad that it did, because this new one I found on Amazon was so much more superior to the Room&board wax.
My dresser has not been treated w/ wax for almost a year. Here is before/after comparison:
Before: surface was dry and dull. It had many white water marks from cups and wedding bands.
After: surface was brought back to life and showed a nice golden red cherry color; wood grains looked beautiful, It had such a nice shine (not oily, not shinny); and the water marks had all disappeared. I never saw that beautiful golden shine when I used R&B wax. In short, the dresser simply looked amazing!

When we bought our Houston home many years ago, we had wooden kitchen cabinets, wooden paneling as well as built in bookshelves in the same nice wood. Over the years however, most especially, the kitchen cupboards began to look rather shabby. I liked the natural wood so painting was not my choice. Then I found this product, Howard's Feed-N-Wax & what a difference! It brought new life & the richer color back into all the wood. I did so several times over the years...and when preparing to sell our home, I repeated it again and it certainly improved my kitchen & paneling image.
When we subsequently moved to Utah with its very dry climate, we again had "needy" wood cabinetry...here in the kitchen, bathrooms, & staircases. After a good cleaning, I pulled out the trusty Feed-N-Wax, easily rubbed it in & brightened & enriched those wood tones once again in this home. Because of the dry climate, the wood really needs a good rubdown more often (than Houston) but it's easy to use & goes a long ways. I'm at the end of my original first bottle & have just reordered to ensure I always have it on hand.
I would mention, I keep two small towel remnants in a baggie, near the bottle of FNW to be reused each time. Since the product also contains a petroleum product, do not place any applicators in the washer or dryer. Neither would I recommend that one use paper towels to apply...you will waste lots of product (when it soaks in to the paper) & the actual towel remnants are very easy to work with + with the beeswax ingredient, remain nicely lubricated.
I've found this is a real winner for me by giving new life to the woodtones in my homes without a need to refinish it all!
