Customer Review: Best earplugs on the market
Summary: 5 Stars

College dorms are not known as quiet places, and sometimes when you want to get some studying done there's a lot of distracting commotion outside. In my case, I also have a roommate who snores quite loudly. After trying some other brands of earplugs, these are definitely the most effective in terms of blocking out noise, and have the highest NR rating of any earplug, disposable or reusable.

Getting a proper seal can be a bit tricky. My process is as follows:

1. Lubricate your ear somehow, some people simply use spit, but I use lotion. Just put a tiny on your finger and rub it around the inside of your ear.
2. Roll each plug between index finger and thumb, they should compress nicely.
3. Grasp each plug by the flange and insert it pretty far into your ear. If you poke something that hurts, then pull it out a bit.
4. Continue holding the plugs in your ear until they fully expand. At this point again, if you feel any discomfort, pull it out a little.

You'll find that some noises are louder (chewing gum, breathing, footsteps) and that some noises penetrate anyway (such as low vibrations that transmit through bone conduction) but all in all they are excellent. Even though they are "disposable" they can be used more than once; as long as you don't have lots of earwax, you can probably use these 2-3 times or more without great detriment.

Pros:
-They work really, really well
-Cheap bulk pack

Cons:
-None!

Customer Review: Best noise reduction available!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I'm a pretty light sleeper and my husband snores. Plus, my cat sometimes caterwauls in the morning for attention. These are THE BEST earplugs I've tried and believe me, I've tried SEVERAL. I've even gotten a pair of professionally-molded earplugs by an audiology specialist. THESE ARE BETTER! The molded pair did fit my ears better, but they don't come CLOSE to how much noise the Leights block out! I highly recommend these!!

Customer Review: Best there is in disposable hearing protection
Summary: 5 Stars

Comfortable. Effective (when worn properly). I have been using these ear plugs as a USAF F-16C and F-15C mechanic for more than 10 years. These are far more comfortable and have a higher NRR than the ones the USAF buys. I prefer to buy my own and only use these. These simply are the best.

Customer Review: Best, Most Quiet Earplugs Ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have been using earplugs to sleep for years and discovered these earplugs while touring the mechanical/machine room of a hospital where the noise levels are deafening. I kept the earplugs given during the tour and became instantly addicted! They reduce noise better than any earplug I've tried, and they're by far the most comfortable I've ever used. I recommend them hands down, with absolutely no reservations. Buy and enjoy!

Customer Review: Block sound well, but leave ears damp
Summary: 4 Stars

These are fantastic for saving my marriage from the evil snore monster. They do leave my ears feeling really soggy every morning, but I think that's probably just because they create a good seal. Still sucks to wake up to nasty ears.
