Tools and Hardware Reviews of Howard Leight MAX1 Earplugs Uncorded NRR33 Box/200 CountCustomer Review: Excellent sound buffer. Summary: 4 Stars
I've tried several other brands - Howard Leight Max1 offers substantial noise reduction and is an excellent noise buffer. What keeps it from being a 5star review? Placement in the ear takes a little practice - rolling it to fit in the ear canal and then holding it in place until it springs back into shape.
Customer Review: Excellent! Summary: 5 Stars
It's like turning off the world. And the foam is soft, adjusts easily to the ear. If you keep it in your ears all night, they won't be sore in the morning, like with some other earplugs I used before.
Customer Review: Excellent, cheap earplugs. Summary: 5 Stars
I've tried many different earplugs and these are simply the best. Correctly fitted* they are comfortable and offer high levels of attenuation. I bought them for shooting and they are so effective that I now rarely wear earrmuffs. Although they are 'single use' I find I can get many days use before they get too gunky. Also great for motor sports, travelling and a good nights sleep. Buy in bulk and look around for the best price. At around 16 - 18p a pair they are a bargain.
*(roll plug, insert, hold finger on end of plug until they have fully expanded).
Customer Review: Expensive, But Worth It! Summary: 5 Stars
Very effective in reducing the ambient noise for night sleep. May cause minor irritations in the ear, but other than that it is very comfortable. I've tried them all. This one is indeed the best.
Customer Review: Far and away the most comfortable Summary: 5 Stars
These earplugs are a little tough to put it because you have to roll the tips very tightly to get them to slide into the ear canal, but once they're in, they work and they are amazingly comfortable. I use them for noise when I am trying to study (very effective) and for my partner's occasional loud snoring and I find them to be far and away the most comfortable of all the ones I've tried. Not quite as effective for snoring as the wax ones, but they also don't stick to your hair and pull it out like the wax ones do. Also, the only ones I've used that do not irritate the ear canal after being left in for a long time.
