The fan itself looks just fine - exactly what you'd expect from a Hunter fan. The light cover is kinda ugly IMO. While the shape is nice, glass looks like it was spray painted to make it more opaque. Unattractive. My biggest objection, however, is the light output. This fixture only uses two candelabra bulbs, which come in 60 watts and less. In the evenings, I feel like I'm eating by candlelight, which is not the effect I desire. I'm disppointed. So much so that I am considering replacing this fan, which has only been installed for a couple of weeks.Customer Review: Excellent fans for the Price

I bought three of these fans for our bedrooms. They look great, are very quiet and easy to install. They were shipped in the Hunter box but one of them had a broken globe. Hunter has a great reputation and a home renovator friend recommends only that brand, so I have restricted my choices only to Hunter. This one is a nice, quiet fan/light for a moderate price.
There were a couple of problems. The screws didn't precisely fit the ceiling dome--I had to go to Home Depot and find similar screws that fit better. It's hard enough holding the assembly against the ceiling while pushing a screw in, and then to discover that the screw simply doesn't thread in smoothly is an annoyance. The other problem was a piece of rubber gasket hanging out of the motor assembly that caused a click on each rotation of the fan. I cut it off and the fan has been fine ever since. Still, it's a blot on Hunter's reputation and keeps me from giving it 5 stars.
I put in a Hunter remote at install time and I love it. The remote sounds like a luxury but in fact it's a wonderful thing, especially when you're in bed. I wouldn't get a Hunter remote again, however, because its circular design is confusing and after almost a year I still can't distinguish the buttons in the dark. What were they thinking.
One other feature that's nice is the dimmer. The Hunter remote has a regular light on/off button and a dimmer button. If you tap the dimmer, the light comes on very dim and makes a nice night light for your partner if you went to bed first. Of course, it precludes the use of compact fluorescent bulbs, but that's just the price you have to pay.

I replaced an older, less well-known brand with this beautiful fan and couldn't be happier! The old one made such a lovely grinding noise that kept me up at night. This new one is completely silent and lovely to look at! Hunter fans are always worth the money, but this one was quite reasonable and easy to install. Love it!Customer Review: Gorgeous fan

The quality of this Hunter fan/light is excellent; the colors are rich, the motor almost silent, and the look is very classy. It fits in beautifully with our 1930's cottage decor.
