Installed this fan in our family room. Motor is quiet and provides a nice amount of airflow. The 22w light is a bit cold and harsh like most fluorescent lights so I don't really use it much. It's packaged with a mounting rod so you can choose to mount it from around 4 inches from the ceiling to about a foot away. Good fan, nice design, nice price.Customer Review: Great Fan

We bought 2 of these fans. The best thing I liked about these is how easy they were to install. While most fans need a second person to hold the base while you wire it into the ceiling, this one allows you to hang the base on the junction plate hook while you perform the necessary wiring. The remote control that mounts on the wall plate has all the functions you would ever need like 3 speed, light and reverse flow. The 'no wabble' technology makes for a very smooth and solid function. This fan will spin at full speed and stay rock steady and makes this fan worth the price. You will be satisfied.
