Tool Review: Not as quiet as expected, good look

My expectations were high that this replacement fan would be almost silent. However there is still a definite humming sound that gets really annoying when there is no noise around. This happens at the lowest speed setting. I checked the support system in the ceiling and could not find the reason for this problem, it has to come from the motor itself.
At such a price, I was expecting more from a Hunter fan. It looks good, but at dark when you're trying to sleep, the noise is more important than the look.
I need 4 more fans and won't be buying Hunter anymore.
