Great for the working person. I would highly recommend this thermostat if you love waking to a warm house. I have it set to come on for an hour before the alarm goes on, and off right after I get out of the shower. Great money saver since I used to leave the heat on higher all night not to wake cold. It was easy to install. My boyfriend did it, but had it completed in minutes. Only draw back is, it's programmable for Monday thru Friday. Not sure why I can't get Saturday and Sunday to show since the instruction book show it. Since I'm there to manually adjust on the weekend, it's not the much of an issue.Customer Review: So far so good, easy to install and works perfectly

This unit I think is a good one to start with to find out if a programmable thermostat is for you and your familys particular lifestyle.
If you have someone at home all day that likes to keep the heat up, this may be of no benefit to you, as they are not for everyone.
Its economical construction and one year warrenty, as well as a low price, tell you its not a high quality unit, but its not junk either.
When this one gives up the ghost I plan on purchasing a higher quality unit that will run from my furnaces power, with a battery backup insted of battery only like this unit is.
It was easy to install and works just as its supposed to.

I recently moved and wanted to upgrade my thermostat to a programmable model. I just have a mili-volt system wall heater and didn't need much advanced functionality, so I picked up this unit based on all the great reviews.
Well so far it has worked great, as advertised! It's only been a month, but I'm happy with its functionality so far.
The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is that it feels a little flimsy: it moves around a little bit when I push the buttons, especially the temp Up and Down buttons, which are located on the top-right corner of the unit. This is probably because it's held on to the wall with only two screws, in the center of the unit, and it's not completely flat in the back (for style purposes). In this regard, I guess you get what you pay for.
But as for function, I couldn't be happier! I appreciate the IndiGlo display, too.

I bought this to replace my old non-programmable thermostat and it works flawlessly. The installation was simple and it is not very hard to program.
