This is a good fan at a great price. The first fan that was delivered had a defect with the oscillation knob and the fan did not oscillate.
Hunter fan customer service sent me a new one without a problem.
The fan is well built, well designed and heavy for a small fan. It is very sturdy and provides a good level of air. I think you will be surprised how well built this 10 inch fan is and the added features such as grill ornaments and switches.

Extremely well built, nice and heavy for a small fan. My little Honeywell's move quite a bit more air than this Hunter but they aren't attractive and I really doubt they will last as long as this Hunter. It would make a great gift.Customer Review: Nice fan.

I think the fan is really nice--it's a very handsome addition to a desk/work area...and certainly very sturdy. I'd gotten it for my desk but it pushes air well enough that I had to move it to a nearby shelf. The look is very classic; it beats any plastic fan for sure. It has a bit of a drone when it's running, but it's a metal fan, and that's to be expected. It's not silent so don't go in expecting that.
The price varies here; for the price I paid, which was reasonable and well below list, it absolutely cannot be beat.
