Customer Review: I would recommend THIS dehumidifier

I've had the Hyundai HYU-30AE dehumidifier for several months now and have found it quite useful for pulling out excess moisture from my house. I have it stationed in the main part of my house (kitchen/dining rm/living.) Its operation is fairly simple with just a few control buttons on top---easy to see and use. It occasionally confuses ME with the "increase/decrease" humidity controls....does the easy to read "readout" indicate 'what I have or what I want to achieve' ---eventually I seem to get it right or at least doing what it should. In the beginning, it ran pretty-much constantly for the 1st 3 days. I live in a humid part of the country (west-central Florida)...so, such a lengthy operation is probably to be expected. I've found it particularly useful to operate during those times of the year when no heating or air conditioning is required from my heat pump outside. This dehumidifier keeps the indoor humidity down without having to unnecessarily run either the heat or A.C. to do the same thing. I'm certain now that the electricity needed to run this machine is substantially less than running the heat pump. I would recommend this machine. I like mine and am quite satisfied.
