I bought a bunch of these to move with. This Extra Large size was useful for packing bedding in, but the zippers can be very contrary (falling off, or not zipping smoothly), the valves leak, and the bags tear fairly easily. All of these problems were worst on the XL bags.Customer Review: Saved space

We purchased several large size bags for an extended trip. We were able to get twice as much into our suitcases. This is a great product.

So far, so good. The ziploc-type seal is a HUGE improvement over the clamp bar the original bags used. I will have to try a larger size though. The extra large size bags will not hold a king size comforter. I think, maybe, that there's a jumbo size.Customer Review: Terrific Idea, terrible product!!

I was about to order these, and saw the bad reviews. I thought these were a bunch of monkeys that weren't any smarter than the bag itself!! I used them before and they worked just GREAT!! But to be on the safe side I checked the ones I have already used to make sure they were still working. ALL seven of them have lost their vacuum!! I won't be ordering any more of these until they improve the quality of them!! I would NOT recommend them to anyone for any reason!! I have taken some time to read some of the other reviews that have been given for this product and have been blown away by the amount of negative feedback that has been given. My experience with Space Bags has been wonderful.
Now I'm not sure that I would plan on using them for long term storage, but for travel there is simply no better option. I recently used them for a trip to Europe and they were a life saver. I needed to take a significant number of clothes and such and was able to fit everything that I needed in just a few bags. They held up very well over both legs of the trip. Not even my luggage fared as well.
I did notice that one of the bags began to leak after a few days, but it wasn't very much and it certainly wasn't even to keep me from buying more in the future.
In short, if you follow the instructions you should certainly have a good experience with Space Bags.
