Tools and Hardware Reviews of ITW Space Compressible Bag BRS-9212ZG Vacuum-Seal Travel Roll Bags, Set of 4Customer Review: Excellent Bags for Traveling Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using these bags for over 2 years in my North Face Carryon bag and they enable me to get a weeks worth of clothes and workout gear into a bag that will fit into any overhead I've ever tried to include several TurboProps.
If you take care of them they will last a long time. They are thin by comparison to some of the other bags out there but keep in mind they are intended for Travel and are lighter in weight that some of the other bags out there.
I am getting ready to order a couple more sets. I carry an extra bag with me on trips for dirty clothes so that I don't contaminate the bags I use when I am outbound. They are an excellent value and well worth getting.
As others have stated, don't over fill them and they will function just fine.
Customer Review: Excellent Product and Service Experience Summary: 5 Stars
It was my first experience with Amazon.com which is far away from my country, India. Setting my apprehensions aside I decided to go ahead with the order placement. I ordered 2 boxes of the product including a total of 8 bags. The order was promptly shipped from the U.S. and door delivered to me in India within 7 days. Each and every bag was exactly as shown on the website and every one of them held the vacuum after stuffing my woolens and removal of air. An excellent product and a greatly satisfying buying experience.
Customer Review: Fail. Summary: 2 Stars
Yes they do compress, but you're better off rolling the air out of a ziploc bag, then buying this. The fabric of the items bunch up and block the opening where the air is pushed out. You can't even get the items as flat as the picture shows. I also noticed that it's difficult to even deflate the air out because the air backs up.
Customer Review: Gets the job done with a little practice Summary: 4 Stars
I've now used these a few times while traveling. I've only used them on sweaters, since they take up the most space in my bag. Although they didn't get them as flat as the vacuum-style bags do, they definitely took up less space than if I hadn't used them. It definitely took a little practice, though. First to figure out how to effectively get the air out, and then how to do so without it sliding down to the end. I've gotten good at that first part, but am not always good at avoiding the thick lump at the end when rolling.
i haven't tried this on anything but thick sweaters, since I've gotten pretty good at packing everything else efficiently. I'm pretty sure that I could have gotten my sweaters this compact by tightening the straps on the bottom of my bag and squishing them down. However, this made it really easy to take out and rearrange my belongings to maximize space. I also use packing cubes, and can fit a lot in a small bag!
Customer Review: Good stuff Summary: 4 Stars
If you are looking for a space bag to fit your clothes on your luggage bag this is the right thing. For storage not a good thing cuz its too small but if you are travelling a lot and you need more space to fit your stuff this item is really good.
