I purchased an InSinkerator less than 12 months ago. Recently the casing began leaking. When I called to gain assistance, I learned I was speaking with a call center in the Philippines. Not only did they have difficulty understanding what I was saying, they were not able to answer any of my basic questions about repair response. The individual on the phone could only tell me who to call locally for repair. They only had one option and they had no after hours access.
I called the local representative for repair and he never called back. I had to place another call to the repairman. He indicated it would be 3-4 days to get the system in stock, then 1- 2 days before he would be able to schedule the repair. It was clearly a individually owned repair shop, versus anyone I had ever heard of. He threatened to refuse to do the repair as I was not satisfied with his scheduling, which put me at almost a week out from the date of the call - with no ability to use my sink and/or dishwasher. Sadly, because he is the only authorized representative to fix the system. In addition, he is the only person who can determine if the system is faulty and if he determines in his opinion it is not, he has to be paid $85.00. There is no other avenue to have the system assessed for warranty.
To say this company has a significant lack of customer service is an understatement. I wouldn't buy this product again, although I like the product. To have such difficulty gaining assistance with my warranty was a disappointment.

This is hands down the best garburator I have ever used. Seriously, IGNORE all the negative remarks, and just buy it. I spend a week going back and forth with all the other garburators and finally just bought it.
It's the 3rd time I've installed a garburator and my point of reference is the Badger and the 777.
This beats them both hands down on everything. If you want a garburator that does a fantastic job AND is whisper quiet, this is the one. I don't work for the company I'm just really happy to find a well manufactured product that performs EXACTLY as expected.

We moved into a new house and the previous one was for only a two person household and was very loud. 2 days after the warranty period was over it stopped working. I replaced it with this one and our family is so happy. We could hardly hear it at all and is works beautifully. I did have my husband help hold it up for me to install because it was too heavy to do it alone, but well worth every penny and effort. Thank you!Customer Review: InSinkErator Evolution is Amazing

I bought this maybe about two months ago and it works well. It replaced an old Insinkerator when we upgraded the dishwasher. It is pretty quiet, although I swear it seems louder than when first installed. If you have a double sink, note that the noise volume is considerably louder when the second drain in open. But whatever, I didn't but it for then noise, I bought it for the power.
The pulsing feature is pretty cool. It's a little alarming at first because it sounds like something is wrong, but it's just doing its job if you put something substantial down there it. It seems to grind through things very quickly, much faster than the old disposal. Seems way overkill for our kitchen, but it appears to be a quality product and I won't be kicking myself for buying something underpowered.
