Tools and Hardware Reviews of Indus-Tool FWXXX Cozy Electric Foot Warming PadCustomer Review: Great comfort item Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using this mat all winter and its worked great. My computer desk sucks cold air past my feet but this winter my feet have been toasty warm. Its -10 F outside as I write this and I can feel cold air wafting past me but this mat keeps me from turning up the thermostat.
I left it plugged in for 2 weeks initially, and it did make the garage smell like rubber. I could smell a faint rubber odor for a couple of weeks after I brought it indoors, but I haven't since. My infrared thermometer says it gets up to 155 F in spots, so you should wear shoes and be careful what you have underneath it.
Customer Review: Great foot warmer Summary: 4 Stars
I have this mat under my desk at work. It keeps my feet toasty all day. There was some rubber smell for the first week or so.
Customer Review: Great foot warmer - a little stinky Summary: 3 Stars
It was great for keeping your feet warm or drying shoes, but it has a rubbery smell when it's working that just doesn't work in my living room. It'd be fabulous up north for a garage to dry snow-ful shoes.
Customer Review: Great for heating the working area... Summary: 4 Stars
This product is really great... I was using a Vornado heater before but was concerned that I was heating the whole room while I was sitting just on my working area. This is perfect for under my desk, it keeps my feet toasty and thus I don't need to use a heater which uses at least 750kW.
Customer Review: Great gift! Summary: 5 Stars
I gave this to my Secretary for her birthday and she was thrilled! She is always cold in the office, as so many of us are, and this was a safe and comfortable solution for her. Highly recommended!
