Tools and Hardware Reviews of Infinity Razor- Men's razor

Customer Review: WORST RAZOR EVER!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
Summary: 1 Stars

This razor is a piece of crap!! Sincle blade bic razors cut smoother and cleaner than this worthless piece of junk. Feels like you are trying to shave with a butterknife, in fact I think the butterknife would do a better job than this. I bought this thinking I would save money on razors, but I looked at the reviews after I placed the order, which I regret. TOTAL WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK!!

Customer Review: What a Drag
Summary: 1 Stars

When my husband used this shaver from the very first day, he said it felt like how a very used blade feels, it pulled on his skin.

Customer Review: Works Great
Summary: 4 Stars

I purchased these razors. Reading the directions makes all the difference. The product works great when held correctly. If it's pulling, you're holding it wrong! Give this product a try. I really works great!

Customer Review: Worse than worthless-- probably a little hazardous
Summary: 1 Stars

Just got one at a factory seconds store, thinking "How bad can it be?" Ooof. Now I know.

Now, perhaps there is more than one version of this product, and perhaps I got one that was in a bad batch-- that being the case, then quality-control is non-existent.

With my first shave the twin-blades felt more dull and grabby than my dullest trac-ii. It may be true that this blade will never get any more dull than it is-- partly because I'm only going to use it once or twice, and it might be at that point where it has reached the maximum dullness where it can still be considered a "blade".

There are other little factors that would be worthy of attention if the blades were not the main issue. For example, there are no channels for water to flush the shaved hairs out, so it takes more effort to rinse out. The handle is a unique curved shape, with smooth plastic. Combine this smooth plastic handle with some soap or shaving cream and I literally could not hold onto it, much less control it.

Ultimately, I think this product was poorly designed, never tested in a prototype phase (or the testers were not able to be honest-- (e.g., dad, uncle, step-son?) It borders on being dangerous to use. It is quite literally the MOST DISAPPOINTING PRODUCT I have purchased in many years. Whatever, it was $7. I'm not even mad. I'll call it a learning experience. Too bad, though. I think a longer-lasting blade would be a desirable item, but this ain't it.

Customer Review: Worst razor ever
Summary: 1 Stars

My wife bought me the Infinity Razor for Christmas and last week I used it for the first and only time. For starters it was difficult to find the right angle -- I had to crank my arm into an unaccustomed position for the razor to encounter my beard instead of skate over it. Once it engaged my beard I had the impression it was pulling my whiskers out by the root one at a time. Only afterwards did I discover it had done no such thing: most of my whiskers were left in place, standing taller and more confident than ever. Evidently the razor only massages your beard on its way to scratching your skin. I had to "clean up" with a standard disposable razor each time in order not to go to work looking like Brett Favre. The "Infinity" lasted just four days and went out in this morning's trash. It was the worst razor I have ever used.
