Tool Review: Excellent for what it is but not too useful for astronomy class

I bought this to test it out for use with a nighttime astronomy lab. In the end, I decided to go with something else, though I personally like this option.
I like the two brightness settings - they are easy on the eyes while reading things in the dark, especially the dimmer one.
I wish there wasn't a blinking setting as it can be a little disruptive...
The main reason I won't be using this in the astronomy lab is that they are small. I anticipate they'll likely get lost or stepped on. I'll probably use it for myself though and report back :)
