I serve on a submarine in the Navy. These things are great, especially at periscope depth when the lights are dimmed so the officer of the deck doesn't get blinded when he uses the periscope. When we do that red lights are the only thing authorized. This thing clips right on the collar button hole on the Navy coveralls, which is very convenient!
