Tools and Hardware Reviews of the Inova T4-WB 175 Lumen Rechargeable LED Flashlight, BlackTool Review: The BEST rechargeable I've ever seen Summary: 5 Stars
I've been a volunteer firefighter for 24+ years and have owned an Inova T4 flashlight for the past 14 months. First, it's small (tac flashlight size) and won't wear you out like a rechargeable Maglite will. The light is bright white instead of the more usual yellow of most lights. I've covered and blotted out the light from rechargeable Maglite carried by highway patrolmen at accident scenes. The beam cuts through smoke like no other flashlight I've used. I've never had any problem with getting it to recharge although learning to get it properly in the charger cradle can be problematic. I keep mine in my pickup behind the door near the floor and on recharge all the time when not in use. It can't overcharge and draws very little juice. The light lasts the advertised 2 hours (tested when new). I'm not sure about recharge time as except that one time I've never discharged it completely. This is easily the best flashlight I have ever owned.
ETA: I wrote the above a year ago. I now have owned the flashlight for 3 winters. It has never failed me. It is always on charge in my truck and has never killed the battery in the truck. It has been in numerous housefires and been used when a radio station burned and did not fail in use in freezing rain while being held in a wet glove. It is as bright today as it was the day I bought it. Still a 5 star in my book.
