Customer Review: Comes off too easily!

This item LOOKS great but does not function well at all. Every time you pull on the towel, the whole thing lifts up off the door. And there is not enough length on the backside of the hook to drill it or stick it on tightly.
A total disappointment. Of course, it comes in formed, hard plastic packaging that you have to destroy to open, so returning isn't an option.

It's brushed nickel/stainless steel so it looks stunning and is the best idea for a renter, like me. There was nowhere to hang my dish towel, and as everyone who likes to hang theirs on the stove handle knows, some stoves aren't made for this. It fits perfectly on the corner cabinet door, the kind that has two sides and folds into a 90 degree angle with the lazy susan's inside. This six inch over the door towel bar is ideal when you don't want to permanently drill holes in your kitchen cabinets. I ordered two of these. I cut and glued a couple of small pieces of wood on the inside of the hanger arms so that they stay in place and are flush with the doors. I love the satin finish on these too. I purchased 2 of these for the two cabinet doors that are below my double sinks in the galley.
They are the perfect length for these doors and do not protrude so much that they are an impairment. The top mounting brackets fit well and the bars do not slide around when the doors are opened and closed. Each bar has protective padding to protect the finish.
The best part is that no drilling is required!

Customer Review: Great idea Could have been made better

The width of the hooks is 1 inch I think. After I bent them slightly the new width was 1 inch and 1/8 of an inch it still does not fit my cabinets,it will sit on them but as soon as any weight is applied or shaking(closing the door)it falls off I will admit that the molding on the edges of my cabinets is curved making the fit difficult however if the products hooks were 5/32's of an inch wider it would fit perfectly.
So why not make them wider?
