The Intermatic PR3C power failure light works fine. The " Three-in-One" description is a bit confusing, but when the power goes off, the light comes on, and it's bright enough for the purpose. When the unit is plugged in and the power is on, it gives off a yellowish light which is not bright enough to function as a night light , so I don't understand what that light is for. The unit only takes up one space in a receptacle, and also has a "pass through" feature , so you can plug any 2 prong plug into the front of the unit, and therefore not lose any net receptacle spaces.
This is a much better unit than the AmerTac lights I also bought.

I wanted to provide security for my Mother-in-Law in the event of a power failure in her residence. I found these on the Internet and purchased for her and myself. The lights were shipped promptly, work great and I am fully satisfied. They also have a built-in night light which she really appreciates.Customer Review: It does not work

The power alert seemed cost effective. The Night light is a little bright but is handy in some situations. When the power goes out the light comes on,just what I needed.
