This is a pretty good product. There are lots of these types of products out there, but the alarm feature on this one is nice.
Its really a shame though that amazon allows for this kind of underhanded practice of selling a product at a very low price (in this case .89) and then charging excessive shipping fees ($5 each for a tiny item like this). I'd much rather see an honest price up instead of a way of eliminating any chance of a customer return/replacement by jacking up the non-refundable shipping charge.
Anyway, thats my rant. These alarms are pretty good if you can find them at a reasonable price.

I purchased these alarms to put on some windows in our walkout basement. The alarms are not real loud, but loud enough to be heard upstairs. fairly loud, easy to install. be sure to use velcro instead of the adhesive tape they send.

This does the job. At first it just would not go off, but I realized that I had to place them really really close to each other in order for this to work. This helps keep little wandering feet in! I am about to other a few more for my other windows.Customer Review: Keeping the kids in

Brought this alarm to keep my three year old from going out the front door without me hearing him.(I also have those plastic covers on the doorknobs, but he has mastered that.)It was easy to install,and seems to be working great so far. He tried once to open door while I was in bathroom, the alarm went off, and he shut the door quick, fast and in a hurry!
